Must be able to travel between Brampton and Oakville locations.

Prism Eye Institute (PEI) has been serving the communities of North York, Brampton, Oakville/Mississauga and surrounding areas for over 50 years.

In 2020 North Toronto Eye Care (NTEC) merged with Prism Eye Institute, to form Prism Group Holdings (Prism) and the largest Ophthalmology practice in Canada.

In 2022, PEI further strengthened a partnership with Vision Group Canada (VGC) and is working to expand its footprint nationally. VGC operates over 50 clinics and 70 surgical facilities performing over 100,000 procedures annually.

PEI is an internationally renowned institute with 5 facilities and 2 surgical centres, serving over 200,000 patients and perform 10,000 surgeries each year. Tasks:

Optical Sales:

• Providing contact lens application & removal training for patients
• Taking accurate measurements for single vision, progressive and bi-focal lenses
• Dispensing eye glasses, contact lenses and dry eye products accurately and maintaining our online store
• Meeting with patients to discuss their vision care needs and helping to select frames and lenses that best fit their lifestyle
• Occasionally pre-testing patients for the general and dry eye clinic
• Adjusting and repairing frames
• Processing payments, answering phones, and responding to inquiries via email

Patient Relations:

• Responding to google reviews and monitoring low profile ratings for Rater8.
• Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquires and complaints to appropriate staff members
• Following up with patients to ensure their inquiry or complaint has been satisfactorily resolved
