With an unparalleled track record of more than 20,000 cataract surgeries, 5,000 vitreoretinal procedures, and 10,000 refractive surgeries (including LASIK, PRK, and SMILE), he is a trusted leader in the management of complex retinal, cataract, and refractive conditions.

Dr. Abdelghaffar’s extensive international training—from prestigious institutions in Egypt, Spain, Germany, and the UK—gives him a unique global perspective and the ability to address diverse and challenging ophthalmic cases. As a testament to his comprehensive training, Dr. Abdelghaffar is double-board certified in the United Kingdom and Canada.
