Dr. Podbielski is a complex cataract and glaucoma surgeon.
He spent most of his training at the University of Toronto including fellowship training in Glaucoma and Advanced Anterior Segment Surgery under the supervision of Dr Ahmed, Dr Klein, Dr Tam and Dr Varma.
During his medical training he has been awarded numerous national and international awards, some of which are mentioned below.
Dr Podbielski has a keen interest in medical education. He has supervised many medical trainees, has been a wet lab surgical course instructor at the Canadian Ophthalmological Society Meeting and an examiner for the Medical Council of Canada on numerous occasions.
